Summary

Technological, telemedicine and e-Health tools have proved to be crucial in the creation of a global health network capable of responding to emergencies promptly, enabling the bridging of distances, overcoming geographic obstacles and navigating toward an opportunity for collective health and shared growth, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

MEDITeH BEYOND was created to facilitate meetings between Institutions (Ministries, Embassies), companies engaged in the scientific-technological sector in healthcare, and representatives of scientific and technological research (National Bodies, Research Institutes, and Universities).

The Summit aims to spread knowledge on the topics of digital innovation, its potential, its application in healthcare and the implementation of telemedicine services bordering the Mediterranean basin.

The Summit will give voice to comparing the implementation of telemedicine services, sharing experiences and best practices, identifying new tools and possibilities to generate report documents.

Professor Francesco Gabbrielli (Director of the National Centre for Telemedicine and New Care Technologies of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità) will chair the Scientific Committee.
