From Summit to Transnational Network
The first edition of MEDITeH BEYOND marked the founding act of a structured collaborative initiative in digital health and telemedicine. What began as a high-level international Summit evolved into a permanent transnational network connecting institutions, scientific bodies and industry stakeholders across the Mediterranean, Africa and the Middle East.
The 2024 Milestone
During the inaugural edition:
The Summit laid the foundations of what is now the MEDITeH Network.
The 2026-2027 Phase: Implementation and Consolidation
The 2027 edition marks the transition to the operational phase of the MEDITeH Network. Following the establishment of the Network in 2024, the focus now shifts toward the development of concrete and shared projects in digital health and telemedicine.
The purpose of the Summit is not merely conference-based. It is project-oriented. The first day and the morning of the second day will provide the institutional and methodological framework necessary to enable structured project work. During the second afternoon, transnational Working Groups will take the stage.
The 2027 Summit is therefore designed as a working environment aimed at launching realistic and sustainable cooperation initiatives across heterogeneous healthcare systems.
The Working Group Model
The operational core of the Summit is represented by the transnational Working Groups.
Each group is composed of institutional representatives, scientific experts and qualified stakeholders, and is entrusted with a clearly defined project mandate. Their objective is to:
The first day and the morning of the second day provide the methodological framework.
The afternoon of the second day is dedicated to project development.
